Over the past two weeks, I've been riding my scooter a lot and also installed two upgrades for my new scooter: a tracker and a ski.
Xiaomi Tag 🏷️
Hidden the Xiaomi Tag keychain inside the scooter. The device connects to the Google Find Hub and can track its location. This tracking only works if there are nearby Android smartphone users supporting the Google Find Hub 📱🤔💭 In case my scooter is stolen by thieves, I might be able to try to find the keychain and retrieve my scooter from the thief. Hopefully, that won't be necessary. But if it does happen, then I'll know how well it works.
Scooter Ski 🏂
Attached a plastic "ski" to the bottom of the scooter to help drag it up the staircase in my apartment building. How long this ski will last is questionable. The attachment using super glue and a plastic bag isn't the most reliable. At least now the screws don't scratch the stairs anymore. 🏢 Getting the scooter out of the apartment has become easier and more convenient.
