This week, I took several scooter trips in temperatures below zero. It starts warm but gets cold by the end of the ride, especially my hands and feet feel the chill. Looks like I need to invest in warmer gloves and boots.
Announcing Xiaomi 6 Series Scooters
I've read about the upcoming Xiaomi scooters due in 2026 and wanted to share my thoughts. The biggest difference from the previous series is the larger wheels - going from 10 inches to 12 inches.
🟩 Pros: Larger wheels provide better stability and reduce the risk of falling on uneven roads.
⛔ Cons: Scooters become heavier, making them more challenging to carry up stairs into an apartment.
In conclusion, it's a questionable upgrade 🤔💭 Xiaomi seemed to want to make a clear distinction from the previous series. But scooters are quite simple - they have a battery, handlebar, wheels, and deck. Most of what could be improved was already done in series 4 and 5. So, for series 6, they went with larger wheels. Other than that, nothing has changed.
