Replacing the scooter tire 😤
The back tire on my scooter went flat. It lasted for about 3,000 kilometers. I couldn’t find the cause of the puncture; it seems like the tire simply wore out. Replacing the tire was a struggle. At first, I ordered a 10x2.125 tire, and it didn’t fit my wheel even though the dimensions match on paper. It seems that scooter and tire manufacturers haven’t learned how to make tires strictly according to standards yet. They still have some “space-age technologies” to master in the future. Although why bother when you can sell a tire twice? Once as an unsuitable one, and the second time as another unsuitable one 😭 Neither the outer casing nor the inner tube fit. The second time I only ordered the inner tube and kept the old tire. It was the same story with the other one, but at least the inner tube fit there 🤔💭
Summary: As of this week, the tire is back on and rolling. Tire expenses: \(26 + \)14 = $40
