Tire Replacement on the E-bike 😤
My e-bike's rear tire burst. It had gone about 3000 kilometers. I couldn't find the cause of the puncture. It seems to have been due to wear and tear. Replacing the tire was challenging for me. At first, I ordered a 10x2.125 tire, but it didn't fit my wheel, although the size matches the specifications. It appears that e-bike manufacturers and tire producers still haven't mastered making tires strictly according to standards. They'll have to learn those space-age technologies in the future. Although, why bother when they can sell a tire twice? Once for an incorrect fit and then again for another incorrect fit 😭 Neither the outer tread nor the inner tube fit. I ordered only the air chamber a second time, keeping the old tread. With the e-bike, it was the same story, but at least the air chamber fitted there 🤔💭
In conclusion: this week, the tire is back on the bike. Tire costs: $26 + $14 = **$40**
