There were two mishaps: a scooter lockout due to firmware bugs and a fine for riding on a closed street.
The Lockout 🔒
My scooter got locked at the railway station; the app refused to start the motor. I had to walk home, wait 24 hours, and pick up the scooter the next day. This already happened about six months ago, and at that time I told myself I wouldn’t use the electronic lock anymore… But later I started using it again. Now, after this second lockout, I am definitely never going to use the electronic lock ever again 😤
The Fine 🛑
I received a fine for a traffic violation on my scooter. I was riding down a street that was closed for repairs. A police car pulled up beside me and asked me to pull over. They told me that isn’t allowed. The fine was $20.
