Bicycle and E-Scooter • 2025-06-15

Hello everyone. It's time for my weekly two-wheeled adventures.

  • Bicycle 🚲 Trips this week: 0
    • Total trips: 268
    • Estimated earnings: $756
  • Electric Scooter 🛴 Trips this week: +7
    • Total trips: 137
    • Estimated earnings: $289
    • Total distance: 1366 km

I continue to study driving every day. There are 1100 questions in the textbook. Can I really remember all 1100? 🤯 I've been watching educational videos on YouTube about scooters, bikes, motorcycles, cars, and their history in society, along with traffic rules. I learned a lot of interesting things. Apparently, initially, it was believed that drivers were always at fault in any collision involving a pedestrian, but later they realized pedestrians could be negligent too.

I think trying to understand what's right or wrong on a societal scale is complex and lacks clear logic. My beliefs change. Once slavery was considered acceptable; it existed in ancient Greece. Now, driving while smoking is seen as unwise. A century from now, electricity might be viewed negatively, and carrying a smartphone in your pocket could be likened to inhaling radioactive waste. History has many such examples: lead pipes in Roman water systems, toxic white powder in Asia, cigarettes were thought to reduce stress = good for you, X-ray radiation was considered safe, etc. 🤔
