There haven’t been many bike rides lately because Iβm constantly in a hurry and trying to get my errands done as quickly as possible, so I end up taking the scooter π€.
Last week had quite an adventure: I got to try riding a slightly newer scooter than my Xiaomi 4 Lite 2nd. It has more power, a longer range, and features front suspension. All the improvements feel very pleasant: vibrations are smoothed out, and climbing hills is faster and smoother. However, I’m in no rush to switch to a new scooter for now; I’ll continue using my old one. As stated in the title of my goal, wheeled transport must pay for itself π€π, and only after that can it go off for a well-deserved rest βοΈ. My old scooter has its own advantages: itβs lightweight, has high ground clearance, and a rear “footrest” which is comfortable to stand on πΏοΈ.
Also last week, I covered my scooter in stickers on all sides. I did this so that thieves at the station would have less of an incentive to take my scooter. I used all kinds of stickers: birds, butterflies, flowers, retro tech, inscriptions in an unknown language, and ladybugs ππππ.
