It’s time to write a report on my goal:
-
Scooter π΄
- rides this week: +3
- total rides: 71
-
Bicycle π²
- rides this week: 0
- total rides: 248
I bought a one-year insurance policy for the scooter. The price was $20. My previous insurance was cheaper, but it also had a shorter duration.
I also looked at the prices of new scooters:
- Electric scooter with a 100 km range: $700
- Electric scooter with a 60 km range: $450
I think it would be cool to have a scooter with a 100 km range. However, I don’t know where I would actually ride it. A 100-kilometer trip would take about 5 hours. You could reach another city, but itβs easier and less risky by train π€π
And here is a comparison of my speed on an incline of 15% over a distance of 3 kilometers:
- Bicycle: 10 km/h
- Scooter: 14 km/h
The scooter is slightly faster π΄ I measured the same path twice: first on the bike, then on the scooter, using the Zeopoxa Cycling app.
