It’s time for my weekly journal. I haven’t been able to find any free time for coding over the last two weeks, so instead, I’ll tell you about what I’ve been doing with my computer stuff. In general, I feel a constant shortage of time; there are always some tasks that need to be done in my spare time. They seem like small things, but I also have very little free time to begin with. Therefore, my free time evaporates at the speed of a raindrop in the desert.
Rearranging My Computer Desk 🖥️🌖
I’ve rearranged my computer desk yet again. It is now as protected from the sun as possible. The evening sunset will no longer be glaring into my face on the screen 🥵 Finally. This was already the fourth time I’ve moved my desk recently. I had to do it right now because, in the spring, the sun shines through the window more and more often.
Tidying Up Cloud Files 🗃️🧹
Over the weekend, I actively organized my photos by deleting the extras. It happened quite often that I would take ten photos of the same shot just to pick the best one “later.” That “later” never actually arrived, and the photos sat in identical batches for years. The task took a lot of time—it felt like 10 hours. However, it’s not finished yet; I’ll keep at it. I think it will take another 10…20 hours to complete.
