:: Google Search Indexing - Success ::
I finally managed to enable indexing for my pages at https://hinst.github.io/: the graph is trending upwards, as shown in the attached screenshot. The approach I described in my previous post worked: I copy and paste URLs using my tracker—about 10 per day 📈 It took many hours and countless attempts to achieve this result. In the future, I plan to make more extensions and improvements for my personal website, as well as integrate Bing and Yandex search engines.
:: Smart Progress - Troubles ::
Smart Progress enabled Cloudflare bot protection. Now, my automation for downloading my posts from Smart Progress no longer works 🥴 I have already removed the old automation from my Kubernetes cluster. I plan to build a browser extension that will automatically sync my posts every time I visit SmartProgress. This way, it should be possible to bypass the bot protection. There are other ways to try and bypass the protection—for instance, running the browser in a Docker container with Puppeteer—but whether that would work smoothly remains unknown. With the browser extension, everything is fair: I’m not a bot; I’m a real user 🧐 Incidentally, Cloudflare seems to be configured strangely: “humanity” verification requests appear too frequently. Before I could even finish typing a post, the session had already expired. SmartProgress sends my post into thin air 🤯 The text I typed just disappears.
