..:: The Google Search Engine ::..
One of my projects is my personal website. For several months now, I’ve been thinking about doing Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I simultaneously want to and don’t want to tackle this task. I want to because it would be interesting to see my text notes in the search results. But I don’t want to because I have to fight with Google Search Console. The problem is that Google Search Console cannot show an error message regarding my site. The site is stuck forever in a PENDING state. If they showed me even some minimal information explaining “what’s wrong?”, I would gladly fix the issue. But right now, it’s unclear what to fix and whether anything will actually change after those fixes are made. In short, the programmers at Google didn’t bother to show me a proper search error message, and in turn, I’m too lazy to mess around with fixing search issues on my web blog.
..:: Android Restrictions ::..
I recently read about new restrictions on Android. Starting in 2027, you will only be able to install apps from a file if the developer has registered with Google using their passport. Therefore, here is the plan: in late 2026, I’ll buy a new “bucket phone,” turn off system updates, and use it until the end of time. However, this plan isn’t immune to trolling: it’s possible that Google will pre-embarrass us by including the app verification code in Android ahead of time and simply activate it via a timer in 2027, or through a Google Play Framework update (which supposedly cannot be disabled).
